Ghar - Homestay, Where Family Lives Together.

We had a great stay at Ghar Homestay. One of those offbeat places where the property is located in the midst of nature surrounded by tea estates & beautiful valleys. We had a great time there. The owner, the staffs everyone was welcoming. The trek with Alok( owner) to a hiking point was the icing on the cake. My recommendation is go for this property & the experience. Alok is a superb host and experience at Ghar homestay was amazing. He took us for a morning hike and we were lucky enough to see Bear and Bisons. Their pet "Lucky" is the cutest pup ever and even accompanied us for the trek. They have camp fire and BBQ facilities as well. Location: This place is amidst tea plantation and you will get a scenic view from all the directions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an offbeat location and adventure!!

I recently stayed at Ghar - Homestay and had an incredible experience! The warmth and hospitality of the hosts made me feel right at home. The cozy and well-decorated rooms were so comfortable, and the traditional meals they served were absolutely delicious. Ghar was the one of the best off-beat homestays that I have visited in recent times. Situated in Hubbathala (Connoor), the stay has the best views and vibes. The room was clean and spacious with a good Wi-Fi connection. The staffs were friendly and cooked us the best homemade breakfast and dinner (suggest you not to miss the dosa and chicken curry). You can do a quick hike nearby or take a stroll in the lush green tea plantation during the morning. Mr. Alok is a super cool host who helped us with our requirements without any hassle. He has a good knowledge about the local spots one can visit during the stay. Overall, Ghar give me the perfect ambience and if you are someone looking to do 'Work from Mountains' and enjoy your time, Ghar is the place for you!

Wow it's everything ur looking for. Clean place, outstanding view, and ooty generally has terrible food but here there's a permanent cook who makes amazing homemade meals and they're very friendly too like family. The owner is a special mention who is an excellent cheerful host making u comfortable and checking with you if u need anything. A true home stay.

It has a wonderful location and I must say the bet view in coonoor. Not to miss the delicious fresh home cooked food prepared by the ladies here. Alok, host of the property made sure we have a comfortable stay by being available for anything and everything at any given time. Not to mis the sunrise and sunset here.
